EU lifts sanctions against Syria

This was reported by Reuters. On May 20, EU Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas announced that the EU countries agreed to lift economic sanctions against Syria. In her post on the social network X, she stated that "Europe is seeking to help the Syrian people build a new, inclusive and peaceful Syria." |
