Venezuelan President reacted to Zelensky's criticism of the Pope

Speaking on the television program ''With Maduro'' on the Venezolana de Television channel, the head of the Venezuelan state compared the Ukrainian president with the leader of the Venezuelan opposition Juan Guaido.

As Maduro noted, both politicians harm their state. And this brings great suffering to the people of both countries.

"Zelensky begins to speak badly, insult the Pope... he seems to me the same clown, as rude and as defeated as Guaido"- emphasized the President of Venezuela.

Maduro expressed support for the position of the Pope on the need for peace negotiations in Ukraine. Let us recall that earlier Pope Francis stated the importance of peace negotiations on Ukraine, calling on the “losing side” to recognize this fact and find the courage to negotiate.
