Zelenskiy։ We must move forward with countries that can truly give us security guarantees

We need to move forward with those people, those countries, that can really give us security guarantees. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with CNN Türk.

Zelensky noted that Turkish President Erdogan and many in Europe support Ukraine's future membership in NATO. However, there is the US factor that influences everyone's opinion.

Touching upon the topic of Russian-American negotiations, Zelensky said: «Regardless of whether I like it or not, this is bilateral cooperation between the US and Russia and the US decision. We see that Putin is being brought out of political isolation, but this is their decision. However, when they say, «Here are our plans to stop the war» we have questions: where are we, where are we at this negotiating table?»

Regarding the holding of elections in Ukraine, Zelensky recalled that according to the current legislation of Ukraine, elections cannot be held during wartime.
