#NYP: Vance had to cut vacation short due to pro-Ukrainian protests
![]() 715 Monday, 03 March, 2025, 12:38 Vice President JD Vance was forced to move his family to an “undisclosed location” after hundreds of pro-Ukraine protesters swarmed the Vermont ski resort where they were vacationing Saturday — just days after his public dust-up with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House. Protestors displayed signs that labeled Vance a “national disgrace,” accused him of being a “traitor” and encouraged the family to “go ski in Russia.” The Vance family had to cut short their four-day trip and forgo their planned stay at a nearby four-star hotel. Instead, they went to a "secret location," the newspaper writes. On February 28, Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at the White House to meet with Trump. During their conversation in the presence of journalists, an altercation broke out between them, during which Trump pointed out Zelensky's disrespectful attitude towards the United States, and Vance - that he forgot to thank Washington for the support it provides to Kyiv. |
