"A few months ago, there were reports that surveying work was continuing in Tavush as part of the border delimitation process. Recently, we asked the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, whether the Azerbaijani military would withdraw from Armenia's sovereign territories after signing the 'peace treaty.' He responded that this issue would be resolved within the framework of the delimitation process.

On March 18, the Prime Minister's office released a statement denying Azerbaijani disinformation about shootings at the border and proposed establishing a joint mechanism to 'investigate' such claims.

The statement concluded with: 'We reaffirm that the Republic of Armenia is ready to continue border delimitation work with the Republic of Azerbaijan,' indicating that the process had reached a deadlock.

Yesterday, during a closed session of the Defense Committee in Parliament, attended by heads of security agencies, MPs asked National Security Service Director Armen Abazyan about the status of the delimitation process. He stated that these works are currently halted and that the process is not progressing on any section of the border."
