Among those detained, 12 people were identified as having links to different terrorist organizations,” the minister wrote in X. Mass protests are banned in Istanbul from March 19 to 27. Despite this, the opposition is holding daily rallies in various locations, mainly near the city hall. According to the opposition, about a million people took part in the mass demonstrations on Saturday. Demonstrations in support of Imamoglu are continuing to this day.
