Lavrov: "Russian-Iranian relations are developing despite pressure"
![]() 954 Friday, 18 April, 2025, 15:33 The entry into force of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and Iran will have a positive impact on cooperation between Tehran and Moscow, the two countries are developing their relations despite pressure, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. “These relations continue to develop dynamically, despite the very difficult situation in the region and the world, and despite attempts to put pressure on our countries,” Lavrov emphasized. The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and Iran was signed on January 17, 2025, during the visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Moscow. According to the document, the parties will strive to deepen and expand relations in all areas of mutual interest. |
