Second round of Iran-US indirect talks in Rome ends

The second round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States on Iran's nuclear program, which lasted more than four hours, has ended in Rome, the Iranian IRIB agency reported.
"The second round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States ended a few minutes ago, during which the Iranian and US delegations held talks for more than four hours at one of the Omani diplomatic institutions in Rome," the agency reported.
As reported by the Iranian Mehr agency, the talks were constructive, and new talks between the two countries are likely to take place in the coming days.
Օn April 12, the first round of indirect talks between US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi took place in Oman, which, according to Witkoff, were positive and constructive.
