5,6 magnitude earthquake shakes Papua, Indonesia

The tremor occurred at a depth of about 49 kilometers, and its epicenter was located 163 kilometers south-southwest of Abepura, with an estimated population of 62,200. No casualties or damage were reported. The national geophysics agency said there was no possibility of a tsunami. |
