5.3 magnitude quake strikes in Iran
![]() 1984 Sunday, 15 October, 2023, 16:36 According to the Iranian seismologists, the quake measured 5.3 magnitude on the Richter scale struck at a depth of 13 kilometers from the earth ground at 2:45 pm and its epicenter was Moshrageh district in Ramshir County in Khuzestan province in southwest Iran. The earthquake was felt in different cities of the province, including Ahvaz, Mahshahr, Ramshir and Hoveizeh. The epicenter of this earthquake was 7 km far from Moshrageh town, 20 km from Ramshir and 28 km from Ramhormoz. |
