This was announced by the head of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, Sanae Takaichi, at a political council, Nikkei Asia reports. Help was requested by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The members of the political council reported that they agreed with India at the administrative level, but on April 20 they were refused, the Kyodo agency noted.
