The United States has about 150 nuclear bombs deployed at US air bases in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Turkey without any official announcement, said Alicia Sanders-Zakre, policy and research coordinator for the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons.
"Therefore, although there is no public confirmation or denial of the deployment of US nuclear weapons in Europe, we know that (US) nuclear weapons are deployed in five countries across Europe: Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Turkey. According to estimates by independent experts, about 150 warheads are deployed at US air bases in these countries," she said at a press conference at the UN.
