A cargo plane was shot down in western Sudan, with Russian nationals possibly among the crew, according to the Russian Embassy in Sudan.
In a statement shared through its Telegram channel, the embassy reported that security services had conveyed information suggesting that Russian citizens might have been part of the crew on board the aircraft.
The embassy is in contact with Sudanese authorities and is taking necessary steps to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
