Ukraine is developing a mechanism for importing electricity from Europe
![]() 1287 Friday, 25 November, 2022, 10:48 The head of the board of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytsky, said that Ukraine is developing a mechanism for importing electricity from Europe. “The energy system of the European Union is able to help us at a difficult moment, and it does it. For commercial imports, this is technically possible. Ukrenergo provides the possibility of such imports in the amount of 500 MW and even 600 MW,” he said. He stressed that special mechanisms are needed for this kind of import, since the price of electricity in Europe is higher than the price in Ukraine. |
