Israel arrests palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi

Israeli forces announced today the arrest of prominent Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi during a new raid in the West Bank.
AFP quoted a spokesperson from the army who confirmed the news, claiming that the 22-year old activist was arrested on “suspicion of inciting violence and terrorist activists in the town of Nabi Salih” near Ramallah.

Tamimi is a prominent Palestinian resistance activist. She became an icon of the Palestinian cause at the age of 14 when she was filmed biting an Israeli soldier to prevent him from arresting her little brother.
