5.3 magnitude quake strikes Iran
![]() 747 Tuesday, 21 February, 2023, 12:00 An earthquake of a magnitude of 5.3 struck the southern part of Iran the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre's (EMSC) data revealed on Tuesday. The quake hit at a depth of 10 kilometers, 112 km northwest of Bandar Abbas, with the epicenter in Fars province. So far, no damage has been reported. Fars News Agency reported that three Red Cross teams have been sent to the scene to assess the potential damage. |
