Environmental disaster. Drought in Turkey and Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani media and people are concerned about the danger of drought, as the water level of the Kura River has significantly decreased.
According to Adil Shabanly, resident of the azerbaijani village of Suraa, this month the level of the Kura River has reached its minimum level. “Lack of water is a national problem, so it is necessary to carefully and efficiently use water resources”, stressed Shabanly.
In Turkey there are many reports on warnings of the environmental crisis: Turkish politician, parliament member Muharram Inje said that Turkey is on the verge of a water crisis that will lead to an industrial crisis. Earlier, Turkish telegram-channels reported that the Turkish village of Chanakkala imposed restrictions regarding the use of water. Images of the dried-up Tigris River confirm that droughts in Turkey have begun. The Istanbul reservoirs are also grinding catastrophically, Turkish channels reported.
Earlier researchers of the American Yale University noted that as the climate changes, Turkey faces a future without water.
