The Tin of Urartian Armor

The armors had a special place in Urartian military art and armament. During the excavations in Karmir Blur were unearthed bronze tin decorated with dotted rosettes, which were fastened with string to each other, and becoming an integral part of the armor, played a protective role during battles.
