Dam bursts amidst flooding in Russian city of Orsk

A dam burst in the Russian city of Orsk on Friday leading to the city's evacuation, local emergency services said.
The emergencies ministry stated, according to state news agency TASS, that the breach could affect up to 4,000 houses housing 10,000 residents in a suburban area of Orsk which has a population of 2,30,000.
Efforts are underway to evacuate residents and reinforce the dam in the city, located about 1,800 km east of Moscow near the Kazakhstan border.
