Kirby: Ukrainian troops in Donbass are retreating to the second and third lines of defense

The Ukrainian army in Donbass is running out of ammunition, they are retreating to the second and third lines of defense, John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council (NSC) of the White House, said in an interview with ABC.
"They are running out of ammunition in Donbas, now they are retreating to the second and third lines of defense, while the Russians continue to push them west, they need this support," the White House official said.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg urged alliance members to hurry up with sending ammunition to the Armed Forces.
As Foreign Policy magazine wrote, the Russian Armed Forces in the coming months may make the biggest breakthrough since the beginning of their military operation, all the conditions for this are there.
