German airports allegedly suffer technical issues

According to authorities, the federal police computer systems are suffering outages, with the cause currently unknown. The report claimed police are carrying out security checks manually, increasing waiting times at the Frankfurt and Dusseldorf airports. The WDR broadcaster said Dusseldorf Airport passengers have been forced to wait for at least two hours and that entry into Germany from outside the Schengen area is not possible at the moment. |
